Devara Breaks Records in Advance Sales, Eyes ₹100 Crore Opening for Jr NTR

 

Devara: Part 1, starring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, is poised to set new benchmarks at the box office, potentially becoming Jr NTR's biggest solo opener. The film has already achieved impressive pre-sale figures, with ticket sales crossing ₹50 crore, including $2 million from the U.S. market. In India, the movie has sold over 6.88 lakh tickets, generating ₹30 crore, with the Telugu version leading, followed by the Tamil version.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Devara has earned ₹17.46 crore from pre-sales as of September 25, with additional earnings from the Tamil version. The Hindi version is also performing well.

With projections suggesting a worldwide opening of ₹100 crore, Devara is set to surpass Jr NTR's previous solo lead record held by Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava, which grossed ₹58 crore globally. The songs from Devara have been well-received, building anticipation among fans, although trailers have drawn mixed reactions. Regardless, the film is expected to be Jr NTR’s biggest solo opener, with the potential to cross the ₹100-crore mark worldwide.

The movie is jointly produced by Yuvasudha Arts and N. T. R. Arts,  and it will be released in two parts.
