RRB JE 2024 Exam Timetable Released: ALP, RPF SI, and Technician Details Inside

 

The Railway Recruitment Boards have announced the exam dates for the recruitment of Junior Engineers (JE), as well as for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP), RPF SI, and Technician positions, through an official notification issued on October 7, 2024.

According to the schedule, the RRB JE (CBT 1) exam for 7,951 vacancies is set to take place from December 6 to December 13, 2024.

Importantly, the examination is being conducted for the recruitment of Junior Engineers, Depot Material Superintendents (DMS), Chemical & Metallurgical Assistants (CMA), Chemical Supervisors (Research), and Metallurgical Supervisors (Research).

Out of these, 17 vacancies are allocated to the Chemical Supervisor (Research) and Metallurgical Supervisor (Research) positions under RRB Gorakhpur. The remaining 7,934 vacancies are for Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant posts.

The selection process will include two Computer Based Tests (CBTs), followed by document verification (DV) and a medical examination (ME). Additionally, there will be a negative marking of 1/3rd of the allotted mark for each incorrect answer in the CBT.

The registration process for the exam began on July 30 and ended on August 29, 2024. Afterward, a modification window was made available for corrections in the application form with the payment of a modification fee, which opened on August 30 and closed on September 8, 2024.

ALP, RPF SI, Technician Exam Dates

Meanwhile, RRB has also announced the exam dates for the posts of ALP, RPF SI, and Technician.

As per the exam schedule, the ALP examination (CBT 1) will take place from November 25 to November 29, 2024.

Similarly, the RPF SI examination is scheduled from December 2 to December 5, 2024. The Technician exam will be held from December 16 to December 22, 2024.
